Physiotherapy- Workers Compensation

Inform your employer about your injury and you or a representative from your place of employment contact the Workers Compensation Board to make an injury claim. A claim number will be assigned to you and you will bring that to your first appointment. We will handle the billing with the Workers Compensation Board once the claim number is provided to us.


Physiotherapy- Manitoba Public Insurance

Just call Manitoba Public Insurance and make a Bodily Injury Claim. The claim adjudicator will provide you with a claim number that differs from the one provided to you for the damage to your vehicle. Provide us with the Bodily Injury Claim number and we will handle the billing with Manitoba Public Insurance.

She specializes in using osteopathic based assessments to deliver an individual treatment plan using and wide range of techniques which include Facia Release and Muscle energy techniques to address musculoskeletal dysfunction for her clients to improve their active daily living and reduce stress. Member of the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). Valerie has taken additional training in massage therapy approach to treating TMJ dysfunction.

Joe holds professional licenses in both Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy. He graduated from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 1996 and has maintained his professional membership with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba since his graduation. Joe instructed at the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy from 1997 to 2001.

In 2002 Joe travelled to New Zealand to study Osteopathy. While living abroad Joe discovered Physiotherapy and made the decision to return home to Winnipeg to complete his Physiotherapy degree. In 2007 Joe Graduated from the University of Manitoba – Physical Therapy. Joe has taken numerous courses over his 20+ years in allied health, completing his upper and lower extremity and spinal level 2 orthopedic manual therapy, certification in acupuncture and many post secondary courses in Physiotherapy, Exercise Rehabilitation, Fascia Release, and Massage Therapy to advance his professional development.

Joe has volunteered his time serving on the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association board as a Co-Chair of the Business Affairs Committee and as the private practice representative for the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, department of Physical Therapy Curriculum Committee.

Kaitlin graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in physiotherapy in 2011, as well as a degree in physical education in 2008. She has completed her Canadian Orthopaedic Division level III for the upper quadrant and level II for the lower quadrant. Kaitlin is certified and has advanced training in acupuncture, and has taken training in dry needling.

Kaitlin currently works at St. Norbert Physiotherapy on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and at South Winnipeg Physiotherapy on Tuesday and Thursdays.

In her spare time, Kaitlin participated in the sport of rifle shooting, as well as long distance running. She believes in staying active and pursuing lifelong learning in order to provide her clients with the best possible care.

Sitha obtained his Master of Physiotherapy in 2017 and his Bachelor of Kinesiology-Athletic Therapy degree in 2015 from the University of Manitoba. He recently completed a Master of Clinical Science in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario. Additionally, he has completed several continuing education courses including the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division Level II Upper and Lower, Lyn Watson Shoulder Level 1, Mulligan Concept of Manual Therapy: Upper and Lower and is licensed to practice acupuncture. He holds certifications in athletic therapy, a personal trainer certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology, is a member of the Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and trained in spinal manipulative therapy .

Sitha enjoys working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. He has a keen interest in the field of pain science and tendon health.
